Following the success of reaching the 3rd round of the FA Cup in 2021 CMJ were awarded the refurbishment contract by Marine AFC in Crosby. Extensive works carried out during the pandemic provided a new quirky design for the rebranded 1894 Bar & Bistro which included new ceilings, building works, electrics, decor, walnut finished bar, feature flooring, fixed seating and loose furniture in an improved layout increasing the seating space. The function room received a similar treatment removing a raised area and dated stage dividing the space adding a new kitchen, store, stage area and office. Wenge wall cladding matching the new wenge bar was paired with a neutral toned scheme designed to work with a wide range of events from Weddings, Conferences or Christenings.
