The Cavendish Arms Orangery & Dining room

CMJ began the 1st phase of bar works to this charming 15th century inn during 2017 replacing the main bar and tap room counters.  

Invited to return in 2020 lockdown, we helped to furnish the new build Orangery.  We installed a new booth, new tables and chairs, and new curtains all designed to bring the outside in.  

A montage was created using local historical photos of the village with antique artefacts. This left the main dining room which was refurbished late 2021 with a warm palette of natural tones featuring geese linen curtains.  

Two new glass mirrored wine cabinets added sparkle to the room with new oak panelling and an original inset antique stained glass window.

Original watercolours circa late 1800’s were sourced with weaving and farming implements added for interest.  Now one of our favourite pubs.
